For Deer, I'm leaving October 10th and will end up in Eastern Washington on some Privet Ranch where I will be hunting some BIG Mule Deer. I only get a week to hunt mule deer over there but they say I can take a buck with at least a 20+ inch spread on opening weekend. Washington Season Dates Western Washington Blacktail Deer Oct. 11-31 Eastern Washington Mule Deer Oct. 11-19 Late Buck Hunt for Western Washington November 12-16 (sure wish Mom would let me go hunt elk over in Idaho this year gotta stay in the state this year )

We are heading for South Central Washington on the breaks of the Columbia the 10th to the 13th. The entire family is going up for a great weekend hunting trip. Last year, we tagged out by Sunday morning. It's a bit pricey hunting out of state, but the property and "shooter" deer are well worth the trip!
My 5 year old and wife have informed me that they will help me find the "big one" this year, since I only found one that was barely legal last year (3X4 muley). I'm looking forward to showing them just how much goes into stalking up on a mature buck.
The best part is I'm fishing silvers the entire rest of the week! Yes, this is a CR fishery that I have actually caught a fish from!
