does anyone know or has heard anythign about night crawlers under a bobber for steelhead. i have read about that in salmon trout steelheader but i didnt think that would work but who knows. it just seems kinda trouty...anyway yeah if anyone knows or has heard anythign about it let me know tite lines chris

I use them behind a bait divers don't see why it wouldn't work under a bobber should work .

Nightcrawlers work! I have caught alot of steelhead on "worms" Give them a try........

willie i know a steelhead is a trout...but i just didnt know. thats why im askin to find out. but yeah...anyway yeah i have heard that they are good but i didnt know. thanx for the repsonses....other than a bobber does anyone else no how to fish them

Use a worm threader and thread one over your hook and up you leader. Use a corky in fron of the worm and drift fish it just like any other bait.
Also, Try crayfish tails. Summer steelhead just love those, So do salmon.................Caddis larvae (Periwinkles) work well, as do grass hoppers..........

thank willie for helpin me out i appriciate it....its nice to have a board where ppl actually share things..but yeah i heard about the crawdad tails didnt know those worked but sure is good to know. and as far as caddis larva i thought they were illegal to use but mayb not i heard that about the ef of the lewis. but i dont know about the nf. but thank you chris
