Refinish the bottom of a wood DB

OK people. I just got my first wood DB. The bottom needs to be smoothed down and redone. How would you redo the bottom of the boat?

Glovit, UHMW, the new spray on liner stuff?

Give me your ideas. I dont want to spend very much but want to make it ready for the winter run..

MM, Talk to "Ampersat". I think he's just finished the bottom of his, been workin' on it practically non-stop. I think it's a wood bottom.

I am going to go down to Rays Dory and get my supplies this week. I am hoping to have the boat done by Sunday and be able to float it out on the 6th.

By the way after you finish the bottom of a boat with glovit or coat it how long do you wait to take it out for the first trip?

Few days, week or two weeks?
