We passed on 2 small bucks and didnt get a shot off at the big boy the next day. This is the first year in like 7 years that I havent filled my tag.  Oh well, It was kind of nice watching the smaller bucks for 10 minutes or more knowing you could take them and then let them walk away. Round 2 is elk the end of the month. |

Well, a 180 hog opening week in the high desert of S.E.; 25 yds., a half hour before dusk. Right range for the longbow, but too close for one of the other 5 bucks with him...  6 point head on at 35 yds. a few weeks later; both caught "with our pants down". Bow over my shoulder, him cruising for love through some open mahogany and pine. Through the branches of a downfall we surveyed each other for 2 minutes. He must not have like my camo pattern?  A couple of other 6 points, a 5, and one HUGE 6 at 200 yds. Season = 2 nocked arrows + a couple of trophy animals + a nice tan + good times with friends and fam + limit of sage grouse = Memories ;D Ras |

She's gone to the beach for a girl's scrapbook weekend After my fishing trip to Canada last week I am NEEDIN' to get some more water time.... If ya know what I mean Will tell her hi when she checks in. She should have taken her rod!! Ras |
