LOL. For people who don't catch salmon? Too funny. Chances are, he's never caught one then. My Dad and I caught are fair share of salmon (mostly kings, which had to be released). Then, went on a Gator spree in the afternoon on high tide. So, what does that make me? I'd say hooking the salmon legal, bringing to boat, and releasing would be catching. Then able to catch gators to boot.
I actually REALLY enjoy catching Gators. Have a great time fishing them. Plus, all Gators in "keeper" range make awesome tablefare. Love to batter them and fry them up. Just fixed up the last of mine last week and my kids had it almost all ate up before I could have any. LOL

I have to let ya'll know...Sturgeon, cubed, deepfried in tempura batter, is sweeter, moister and tastier than any fish you've ever had! ooohhhh mama ....God as my witness I'd take it over a beautiful red salmon filet anyday. WHAT!? I said it!! Sturgeon done right is the best. Don't get me wrong, I love me some salmon. I don't wanna toot my own horn...but BEEP BEEP!! ;D I'm a pretty darn good cooker-o-fish, I'd eat it everyday if Mike wouldn't kill me. You gotta try it like I tell ya, don't bother BBQin' or fryin' it up, I swear! Poor Jim, I dunno who lied to you buddie I think you mean to say oversize = no keep = no meat? LOL Anywho, so are Bob-n-jig & I invited to this shin-dig?! LOL ;D
