Dang it Dan! That fine masterpiece of a rod was SUPPOSED to be for Devon NOT you! I hope you are letting him play with it too. I guess I didn't think you were serious when you said Spongebob was your favorite too! I thought your excitement was truly for your son. ;D The true test of the rod will be at the 1st Annual QFA Challenge! All will feel the mighty wrath of the Spongebob Rod...The rivers will flow with the blood of the nonbelievers! ;D GO TEAM SQUAREPANTS!

Hey Smily! You keep an eye on Steve, when hes got the oars. Make sure he doesn't get that boat up on a plane and run...

Hi Ink-fish, I'll remind him to tell him self, I'm not in my sled, I'm not in my sled, I'm not in my sled, Like he said, this is gonna be a team effort. So rowing down thru the holes without stopping to fish first ,and thinking he can go up again to catch it later is going to be tough. We'll be sure we will throw everything at them too on the way down. Let there be no ripple un throwned at. Smily

Hey Jim and Andy, that will be challenging. In fact, as I sit in front of my 'puter I have a tendancy to grab the mouse and twist it as I look at river pictures. ;D

Steve!!! When you sit in front of your 'puter and twist your mouse, do you plant your feet? Do you bungee down your chair? note: "Team Gravel Bar" and anyone who's been in RT's sled will get this. The rest of you have FILTHY minds.

I just realized the opening post was meant for me. Bob-n-jig, I've seen you fish. If you aren't yanking the pole like some kid stealing candy from another, then you are dozing off talkin' on your cell phone. I may have a reputation for bad luck, but let's just wait and see. ;D

Steelhooked: Now you get the joke about pairing us together. You wanted a ringer, you got one. I've got a bell, but no clapper. It happens as you age. I'll try not to embarrass you too bad. Wirenut

Ink-Jim quote: "Team Gravel Bar and anyone who's been in RT's sled will get this. The rest of you have FILTHY minds." ... Jim, I forgot how filthy minded most fishers are. Of course I meant my computer mouse. And when I see a great river picture posted I grab it and twist it like the tiller handle throttle on big OB jet motors. It's just second nature to me. "I can make it over that 'moist' gravel bar - just hold on!" ;D Just Dave, good idea for your gal - a fish scale necklace. I don't punch holes in scales but you are welcome to scrape all our fish. And yes Zaq and Bobby, you guys are welcome to lick the outside of our fish, and chew off the fins too. Yum.

RT, It makes her think of me while I'm gone to the river. The scent kind of stays with the necklace. One thing though. I'm not touching anything the others are exchanging fluids with. Anyway, I haven't found my pocketknife with the little scaler blade on it. Just Dave

:)Last I looked, I'm the third man on the RT - Smily team. Dan knows he can't smack talk us or I'll post something about last year's springer adventure when he went down hard to a couple of amateurs. And Jim. lay off the Ducks. They played ball long after the puppies were licking their whatever it is that Dogs lick. By the way, has the river been picked yet?
