Normally I am sitting here at my desk in the morning reading any good reports or the joke page keeping nice and warm. Today is a different story. While sitting here doing the same thing I am freezing my tail off. My god don't they turn on the heat at all in my building before 8:00 am. I can honestly say that it is only 41deg at my desk right now. I brought in a thermometer to show my boss how gosh darn cold it is in the mornings but today is rediculous. Nothing like sitting here with my coat, gloves and winter hat on so I can try to stay warm. Anyone else besides you guys that work outdoors have the same issue?

NICE!!!!! Yeah, same thing here in our building. Electric blanket won't do me any good, considering my HANDS are the thing that are freezing. 41 degrees, that is INSANE. Companies don't realize that by turning off the heat for the weekends make Mondays pretty miserable. Especially in weather like this. Just don't get it!

I can understand turning off the heat for the weekend. Why heat up a space when no body is gonna be there. But someone needs to get there early for the rest of the crew on Monday Morning. At my work I just come a little later. ;D Smily

Well, I went to change the price on the price sign (Oh yea, got a 5cent increase today) and the # inserts were frozen to the board. Took 1/2 hour when it usually takes 5min. The really scary part is I walked into the walking cooler which is kept at 34deg. and it felt warm compared to the temp outside. At least I didn't have to go into the walkin freeze at a -16deg. About 5min. in there and I'm ready to start crying. It's those little fun things that make work great. Thing that works for me is a little space heater w/ fan underneath the desk. Just don't forget to turn it off! Things start to melt after about an hour. Trent

drove forklift last four hours of shift today and froze my off!! also heard we may get our gas cut off due to the amount of gas everybody else is using. we use to pay a premium to get guaranteed gas but they didn't think we needed it , looks like it might bite them in the backside.

Well I spent a whoppin 2 hrs at work this morning, before they decided to shut down the office. You call in at 5:30 to the weather line, and those bozo's said we are OPEN. Oh well, quite the trooper I am.
