 hodgman neoprene waders
« Result #3 on Dec 18, 2004, 4:08pm »

I grew out of them and want to pass them on to someone else. They have no holes or leak, and no tears. They are Stockingfoot, 3.5mm neoprene uppers, nylon web suspenders, top entry pocket, high back design, reinforced knees, sliding gravel guards and hi-density neoprene soles. Brown color.

Nice board!

I am happy to see another fishing board other than the other one I have been a member of :-X

I am looking forward to some change.

A little about myself.

I have been fishing Oregon waters since I was 5 years old. I am an active licensed business owner of TEXTD&S Custom Rods TEXTlocated in Milwaukie and have been building for over 12 years. I am also certified through the Rod Builders Guild. I mainly build Salmon, steelhead, sturgeon, fly and trout rods, however I can build anything you want. I also assit people who want to get involved with rod building at very little over my cost. Rod building to me is a craft and a great hobby for people who want to get into it. Kids love it as well.

Most of my fishing is done on the Sandy, Wilson, Trask, Nehalem, NF Nehalem, Columbia, and the Willamette.

I look forward to contributing as much as I can to this board.

Tight Lines

Dave

How does your bow feel in the water. Heavy, light, or level with the stern. Jet drives are tough to keep full in rough seas. Thats one of the reasons why not many people use them off shore. Does your boat come out of the water often from being light? What horse power does it have versus loaded total weight. A heavy boat with a jet drive will have a lot more bite in the rough. In the flat, she will be a pig.

If that engine has a low water pick up, that is always going to be a problem. Mercury put a low water pick up on the Bravo Ones and Threes, big mistake for people who run shallow waters. Great for for more water flow via better cooling. Hit a sand bar and she acts like a vacuum cleaner with a lot of horse power. Try enlargening the hole a little bit in spitter. Should not effect anything other than letting the sand particles out. Let me know how you make out. nova23zz502@aol.com GOOD LUCK!!

 Triton Fishing Boats Any Good?

My buddy is looking at a 27' with twin 225 Yamahas and we were wondering has anyone had any bad words on this particular manufactor. I know he was the orignal builder of Hydrosport way back. Seen it in water at Atlantic Boat Show next to the Grady's. About 20,000 cheaper and nicer lay out. Mechanic friendly.

Yamaha is doing very well. Mercury is also. Many marinas are stocking parts for both units. Never buy anything rare or not to often seen.

Is this motor still running when it does this. Because if the the motor stalls while driving at a good rate of speed that will happen. The reason why you see bungies on outboards is because when the prop comes out of the water and lands back in, it is very hard on the trim cylinders. At least that is one of the most popular reasons.
